Change the Challenge?

I had a though, regarding this year's challenge. Maybe I could open it up to more than just video games?

I have more than a couple of TTRPG groups I play with on a fairly regular basis. I also read a lot of D&D source books and watch tons of D&D content on YouTube. As a result, I like to homebrew things for my games. As a matter of fact, one of my campaigns is using a setting I developed.

So, should I count TTRPG content as valid work for this project? For example, I could see myself spending the month developing and testing a new class or subclass. I could also develop new items and spells, and test them out in my games (players permitting). I could also see myself the writing the outline of a short adventure.

I'm excited about the idea, but also feel like at this point I should stick with the plan for the year. I'm going to kick the idea around further and reconsider next month.
